Restorative Therapies for the Gastrointestinal Disorders

Early colonization of the infant gastrointestinal tract is not only vital for childhood health but for our entire lives with its involvement in the development of our immune and inflammatory systems. We will review factors involved with development of the micro biota starting prenatally and how this affects future health including digestion, allergies, obesity and autoimmunity. This presentation will provide an understanding of this key imbalance to provide the knowledge necessary to treat gastrointestinal infections by restorative therapies.
