Biography
Vasiliki E. Kalodimou MSc, Ph.D. is the lab director of the Flow Cytometry-Research and Regenerative Medicine Department at IASO Hospital in Athens, Greece. She has studied and worked with progenitor cells from placenta, umbilical cord, and adipose tissue along with their applications in regenerative medicine and flow cytometry, with publications in the field, including research fellowships. She has published 2 books about flow cytometry, the Greek edition was published in 2010 and in 2013 the book was published from AABB Press USA and was placed as student reference material in Stanford University library, USA. A Bestseller. Her new book: A Handbook to Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Regenerative Medicine was published this year by Speg. Co. She is a Flow Cytometry Specialist, Associate Leader at AABB CT Subsection: CT Product Manufacturing and Testing, USA, Scientific Consultant in Regenerative Plastic Surgery Institute / Pure Aesthetics, Brazil, AABB Assessor, USA, editor in many scientific journals and her biography was included in Who Is Who in the world 2014, 2015 & 2016 edition. Frank Yurasek

Biography
Frank Yurasek completed his PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, PRC, and his MSOM at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, Chicago. In addition to being in Practice since 1985, he is past Chair of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at National University of Health Sciences, and Professor of Tuina at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. He has presented Posters on Acupuncture at several Society of Acupuncture Research Conferences in the U.S. and China, as well as the World Federation of Society of Acupuncture Conferences in Houston, Texas and Toronto, Canada, as well as The Midwest Pain Medicine Society. He was appointed Vice President of WFAS in Beijing in 2014. Dr. Yurasek is Director of Acupuncture for Cook County Health & Hospital Systems, Stroger Hospital Pain Clinic. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Notre Dame University, where he also taught for several years.

Biography
Rong Peijing is a professor and an academic leader of acupuncture in China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS). Her research interests are involved in mechanisms underlying acupuncture and the therapeutic effects of acupuncture. She has made series studies of transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation on depression, epilepsy, diabetes, insomnia, and the invention of acupuncture instruments. The research team investigated that the mechanism of auricular acupuncture is the correlation between auricular and the vagus nerve. Currently she is the Associate Director of the Committee of Auricular Acupuncture and the secretary general of the Academic Committee of China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion (CAAM). She’s got the financial supports from the International Association on the study of Pain (IASP), the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) and the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO). She was awarded the Distinguished Young Investigator by the Federation of the Asian and Oceania Physiological Societies (FAOPS). She’s served more than 20 international conferences as a chair/pc member and offered about 10 keynotes/talks in high ranking conferences or universities, and has also served as editor/guest editor in about 10 peer reviewed journals in professional science. So far, she has published more than 100 academic papers, including Biological Psychiatry, PLoS One,et al. SCI journals. She has won 7 Scientific Awards of the Provincial and Ministerial-level.
